How to set up AV in a huddle room
A huddle room seats two to six people and is the easiest room to equip yourself. One display and one all-in-one video bar cover it.
Display size
Small rooms are shallow, so the limit is often the nearest seat, not the farthest. In a room 10 feet deep a 55-inch screen reads well from the back, and the nearest seat should be about 4 feet away.
Video bar placement
Mount the bar directly above or below the screen, as close to eye level as you can, so people on the call appear to be looking at each other. Choose a bar with a wide field of view, because everyone sits close to the camera.
Cables
Keep the laptop connection short and simple: one USB-C or HDMI cable at the table. If the table is more than about 10 feet from the bar, the USB run needs an active cable.
